I never stayed in the nurses' office very much in school; just once in-between classes when a guy burned me with a heated pen (go fig). That said, hearing you mention student prescriptions in the office made me twitch a little. Like, it makes perfect sense but it's just another one of those "that was never the case in my day, but I can see how it could be at that point now" things. But I digress.
I'm liking these characters so far and I definitely wanna know a bit more about what happened at the Spelling Bee; heh, benefits of the short story writer in that you don't have to fill those kinds of things in, nya?
